Whirlpool/JennAir Range Infinite Switch Kit - 700855K

700855K is a replacement infinite burner switch kit for compatible electric ranges and cooktops. It regulates heat to a surface element. The OEM kit includes the infinite switch, O-ring, gasket, mounting nut, and instruction sheet. The switch has a D-shaped shaft; match the original controls and terminal arrangement before installing.

Fitment guidance: For select electric ranges and cooktops that list part number 700855K. This is a model-specific electrical control, not a visual-match or universal-fit part. Verify the complete model and serial number, original switch number, terminal markings, shaft style, element position, and electrical rating before ordering; similar-looking switches are not interchangeable.

Service and safety note: Disconnect power at the breaker and verify power is off before service. This repair involves line-voltage wiring. Follow the appliance wiring diagram and service manual; replacement terminal positions can differ from the original. Use a qualified appliance technician if you are not experienced with electrical repairs.

Compatible model examples: C202, C201, C221. These are examples only; other revisions can use different parts.

How to find your model number: Check the rating plate around the oven-door frame, behind or beneath the storage drawer, on the frame after the drawer is removed, or under the cooktop. Record the complete model and serial number, then confirm the parts diagram specifies 700855K.
