Whirlpool Range Igniter - WP9758079

WP9758079 is a genuine Whirlpool-manufactured gas range oven igniter used when the original part is worn, damaged, missing, leaking, noisy, or no longer performing correctly. Fitment / What To Verify: Verify model number, igniter body, bracket, connector, wire length, and burner/safety-valve match.

Please confirm fitment with your appliance model number before ordering.

Is it time to replace?

• Common Symptoms: Oven will not light, delayed ignition, igniter glows weakly, or long preheat.
• Visible/Sensory Cues: Cracked ceramic, weak glow, broken cage, or brittle wires.

Pro Tip: A glowing igniter can still be too weak to open the gas valve.
