Moen Cartridge Retainer Removal Tool for Two-Handle Faucets - 14272

Remove a two-handle faucet cartridge retainer with the Moen 14272 service tool. It is a cartridge-retainer removal tool, not a water-control cartridge.

Compatible cartridge families: Moen identifies this tool for its 1224, 1234 and 1248 two-handle cartridges. Confirm your faucet uses one of these retaining systems before ordering.

Installation tip: Shut off the water supply, remove the handle and trim, and follow the faucet service instructions. Avoid damaging the cartridge retainer or nearby finished surfaces.
